Great Olympics captain Gladson Awako has bemoaned the release of some players by the club during the second transfer window.
According to reports, the Ghana Premier League side released 12 players during the window as part of measures to revamp their squad before the league resumes.
Prior to the transfer window General Manager of the club, Oluboi Commodore, had indicated that the club will do away with non-performing players to make way for new signings.
"I wasn’t happy when I heard some players have been released by the club. For now, I don’t really know those who have been released until we resume training. I will feel bad if they are not part of us anymore when we resume. It can happen to any of us”, he told Happy FM.
The former TP Mazembe midfielder is hoping to help Olympics survive relegation this season.
Olympics were 10th on the league log with 20 points before the league was suspended due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
