The head coach of Medeama SC Evans Adotey, has stressed that he would not manage the club as a head coach anymore as he was not appointed in that capacity.
Adotey revealed he was handed the job of a technical director and therefore ready to play that role though the management want him to continue as a head coach.
“I have emphasized that I wont coach anymore, that is exactly what i said. I am ready for any role aside head coach,” he told footballmadeinghana.com
” I was appointed as technical director and that is what I want to do, I cannot combine the two because I’m going to take charge of the national under 17 female team and there is no way i can handle the two teams.”
” I want to concentrate on the national team. I am already the technical director but i took charge of the coaching job for Medeama because there was no substantive coach so I have stepped down as a head coach for them to get a new coach” he concluded
Evans Adotey guided the Tarkwa based club to seventh place in the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League log.
