Ghana midfielder, Micheal Essien has played two successive games for Panathinaikos without discomfort and says he’s feeling great.
The 33-year-old is rearing in Greece after returning from a long injury lay-off.
The Ghana international has featured in the last two games for the Greens without problems and feels delighted to return to the pitch.
“I feel very well. I feel a little tired but this is normal. Unfortunately I stayed some time apart due to an injury, but I'm very happy that I came back,” he said
“I'm with the team and I'm happy that I played my second game.
“I believe that with the more games I play will be able to go back to my real myself, the football player I was.
“We must continue to work hard in training and will try to enjoy my game whenever I get a chance. I hope to become the player I was.”
Recurrent knee injuries have robbed the former Chelsea star of his immense talent in recent years.
