IOC President expresses appreciation to Ghana

Accra, June 29, GNA - The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has expressed appreciation to the government of Ghana and the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) for the high level of hospitality extended to him during his recent visit to the country to attend the 11th Association of National Olympic Committee of Africa (ANOCA) General meeting.

A statement signed Dr Jacques Rogge, President of the IOC said, "I would like to thank you sincerely for the hospitality extended to me and my wife during our visit to Accra".

He also congratulated Ghana and GOC for the successful organization of the meeting.
