The Greater Accra IPMC Hockey League heads into the final day of first round matches this weekend as the competition for the title and placing gathers pace.
The A-League clubs would be in action this weekend at the National Hockey Pitch. League Leaders CEPS, who have exhibited a rare show of nerves, continue their bid for an unbeaten run this season, would have a tougher task ahead run as they face defending IPMC League Champions Exchequers in a top cracker. The defending champions have not had a great season so far but are expected to give their opponents a tough opposition in this encounter.
Golden Sticks, struggling to replicate the form that made them dominant in the League in recent years, would attempt to claim the three points at stake when they meet Police in the second match of the day.
Marine Sticks, after their win last week would seek to maintain their winning ways when they play Trustees in another interesting encounter.
Reformers play the young and improving Real Ambassadors side who though are yet to win a match have enjoyed a steady improvement after match after match.
