Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Osman scored in FC Nordsjaelland's thrilling 3-3 draw with Midtjylland in the Danish Superligaen on May 20, 2024.
The pre-match head-to-head record favoured Midtjylland, who had 24 wins to Nordsjaelland's 15, along with 11 draws between the two sides.
Osman, a key player for Nordsjaelland this season, started the game at the Right to Dream Park and played for 78 minutes. Despite Nordsjaelland having more possession, Midtjylland had more shots on goal.
Osman opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a left-footed shot from the centre of the box, assisted by Daniel Svensson.
Benjamin Nygren then added two goals, in the 16th and 36th minutes, to give Nordsjaelland a commanding 3-0 lead.
However, Midtjylland mounted a comeback in the latter stages of the first half, with Franculino Djú pulling a goal back in the 38th minute and Mads Bech scoring in stoppage time to make it 3-2.
The second half was more evenly matched, with both sides creating chances to score. Ultimately, it was Midtjylland who found the net again, with Sverrir Ingason equalizing in the 79th minute, bringing the score to 3-3.
Osman, who is just 19 years old, has been a standout for Nordsjaelland this season, scoring six goals and providing seven assists in 28 Superligaen appearances.
