Kevin Prince Boateng’s response to his like for lots of sex should be read by every man. In a no-holds-barred interview with ‘So Foot’ magazine Kevin lifts the lid about his sex life, football career and everything he stands for in life.
He started with the difficulties of life in Berlin as a child, ‘"I come from a difficult place in Berlin, that's why I'm called 'Ghetto Kid', he said.
“There was a lot of criminality, drug dealers, but anyway, I didn't have an unhappy childhood. My childhood wasn’t that bad, even if sometimes the fridge was empty, I went to eat with my friends in those days,” the 27-year old revealed.
He went on to explain how such conditions could affect one’s way of doing things.
"Many, when living in such conditions tend to be aggressive, because they think they don't deserve to live like that. I've many friends that ended up in a prison, or who were stabbed. A great example is the one of my oldest brother (George), he could've been a soccer player, but wasted the opportunity. That was my fortune, because I could transform all of that rancour in a positive thing."
Kevin is the older brother of Jerome Boateng who plays for Bayern Munich but concedes much as they relate, their mentalities are different.
"Jerome and I grew up in different atmospheres, but we are friends anyway. My father was not with us, even we needed him more. I talk everyday with Jerome, we are good friends although there is a certain distance because we did not wake up together every morning when we were kids, we have different mentalities, and we grew up in different atmospheres."
Kevin’s career has seen lots of ups-and-downs, but expresses his delight with his current AC Milan opportunity and play mates.
“I'm fine at Milano, the people love me here, and I'm happy. I agree a lot with Allegri. At Milan, respect is a very important matter. “
“In the past, I tackled everyone and no one told me anything. No one told me anything about my tackles, but here I learned how to tackle, and when you do one, people go crazy like it was a goal".
He also revealed the hard way with which he’s had to learn his trade.
“At Dortmund, Klopp was the coach, in training I scolded and he made me play only ten games, but with him I learned how to frame my shots. Allegri can come to me and call me a cretin if I miss a goal, I'll laugh because I'll agree with him."
The tattoo-loving midfielder reserved some praise for his compatriots Gattuso and Ibrahimovic.
“I wonder where all this energy came from. “Ibra is the same; he is so strong it could also smoke a cigarette before scoring."He has a way of being amazing, I admire him because when he gets up in the morning he wants to play, run and collide with someone."
Then came the subject of how he loves having sex. It will be recalled his Italian-American girlfriend, Melissa Satta, shocked the world in an interview where she speculated that Kevin’s injuries are due to incessant sex.
Kevin replied, “If I'll stop having sex for not getting injured? No, Sex doesn't cause injuries, if it did, everyone would be injured."
