President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantekyi, has descended heavily on Outgoing Sports Minister Nii Lante Vanderpuye after his recent comments against the GFA.
Kwesi Nyantekyi in adressing the media, indicated that the Sports Ministers' comments were unfortunate and only suggests that he isn't abreast with his job at the Ministry.
Sports Minister, Nii Lante Vanderpuye, recently accused the GFA of side stepping him when they received a delegation from President-elect Akufo-Addo at the Black Stars Camp in Ghana as they prepare for the AFCON 2017.
In a series of jabbing comments, the GFA President indicated that the outgoing Sports Minister should be ignored since his tenure of office is almost ended and await the appointment of a new person to man the Ministry.
He also cited previous instances where similar situation happened but didn't amount to attacks from the Ministry.
The has been a long standing "beef" between the Ministry of Sports and the GFA since the appointment of Nii Lante Vanderpuye.
