Angry Kotoko supporters are planning to force resignation down the throat of under-fire chief executive Samuel Opoku Nti, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The irate supporters will have none of the under-performance from the ex-Ghana international and will force him to resign if results do not improve on the domestic scene.

The Porcupine Warriors have suffered back-to-back defeats which sparked a wave of anger among their teeming fans.

They held their players hostage after their painful 2-1 defeat to Edubiase on Sunday and reported to have physically attacked midfielder Owusu Jackson.

Embattled chief executive Samuel Opoku Nti is under mounting pressure to quit after being accused of running a ‘school-boy’ management at the club.

Critics have accused him of lacking the managerial competence to manage one of the biggest clubs on the continent as their fortunes continue to deteriorate under his tenure.

Some supporters have hatched a plan to frustrate him in Accra if the side fail to negotiate their way past Great Olympics on Wednesday, insider have told Ghana’s leading football website, GHANAsoccernet.com

They have threatened to deal with him ruthlessly if the scales do not turn at the Accra sports stadium.

Critics have also accused him of shelving his responsibilities and rather adopting a posture of blaming others for his own crass incompetence.

Nti took over from the celebrated Dr Kofi Kodua Sarpong but has struggled to endear himself to the club’s over 8 million fans.
