Inter Allies Coach Kenichi Yatuhashi has credited the club's opening day victory in the Ghana Premier League against Bechem United to a well planned tactics.
The Tema based club defeated former FA Cup winners Bechem United 3-0 on Saturday, as the Japanese tactician began his reign as Inter Allies with a comfortable victory.
Nigerien import Victorien Adebayor scored a brace as Dan Amofo added the other as the home side cruise to an opening day victory.
Former Accra Hearts of Oak Coach, Keinechi Yatuhashi, who is now Coach of Inter Allies praised the team for executing the game plan perfectly.
"We had to defend a lot. Our plan changed in the second half and we finished our game as planned. We have the next game to prepare for. We have a lot of room for improvement. Fitness is only one aspect of football. It is important but that is not the only thing. We have to improve our fitness and not only our fitness but our over gameplay," Keinechi Yatuhashi told XYZ Sports.
Meanwhile, the Japanese-American was full of praise for new acquisition Victorien Adebayor, who joined the club in the transfer window after excelling in the WAFU Cup of nations. Adebayor grabbed a brace on his Ghana Premier League debut.
"He is young and his job is to score goals like he did. He has a lot of task to perform as well There is a lot of room for him to improve because he is a very talented player."
