Inter Milan’s prodigious defender Isaac Donkor is hoping to draw the attention of Ghana U20 squad selector Sellas Tetteh.
The 18-year-old is closing to acquiring an Italian passport and has been a subject of interest to Italy’s U19 team in the past after playing in the Europa League for Inter at the tender age of 17.
But the powerful center-back insists he wants to commit his international future to Ghana.
“Yes, I want to play for Ghana and I think for now if I’m given the chance with the U20 side I can serve my nation,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
Donkor is in the good books of Inter boss Walter Mazzarri as he has selected him for Serie A games five times this season.
