Iron Breakers win

Suhum, July 12, GNA - Yawkorkor Iron Brakers beat Govinakrom Red Lions by three goals to one in a friendly football match played at Yawkorkor Public Park on Wednesday.

Inside left Offei Yaw scored the first goal for Yawkorkor in the 17th minutes through a header.

Skipper Isifu Musah of Iron Brakers scored the second goal through a free kicked in the 44th minutes and centre forward Kwakuvi Mensah reduced the scores to 2-1 in the 66 minute.

Skipper Isifu Musah scored again for Iron Brakers in the dying minutes from a corner kick.

At Otoase Public Park, Otoase Koran Stars beat Kwaku Tawiah Mighty Babies by two goals to nil. John Opoku in the 23rd and 77th minutes respectively for Stars
