Isaac Dogboe to visit Otumfuo on Sunday

Ghana’s Interim Bantamweight Champion Isaac Dogboe is expected to pay a courtesy call on the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at Manhyia on Sunday.

The 23- year old boxer who knocked out his Mexican opponent Cesar Juarez in the 5th round of their WBO Interim Super Bantamweight fight in Accra barely a week ago is officially Ghana’s youngest boxing Champion ever.

Dogboe’s visit to Manhyia and Kumasi for that matter according to his team is to enable the boxer seek the blessings and backing of the Asantehene and the people of Ashanti for his boxing career as he sets his sights on greater achievements in world boxing.

Isaac Dogboe who is trained by his own father is undefeated in 18 professional bouts and is officially Ghana’s youngest boxing Champion ever.
