Zambian coach, Hector Chilombo has classified his team's second group match at the African Youth Championship (AYC), against Ghana today as a "do or die" affair.

Zambia lost her opening match by a lone goal to Mali, and the coach Chilombo told GNA Sports that his charges will go fighting against the Black Satellites for a good result.

"This game is a do or die for us. We will fight tomorrow. That is our philosophy as a team and we have no plan to give Ghana a chance to play to their strength.

"It is a very important game for us. We want to qualify and we know Ghana is a good team. But we are here to make history for Zambia and standing in our way now is Ghana.

"We have seen the way the Ghanaians play, their strength and weaknesses and we are ready. We know we must win to begin our dream of ending up in the semi-finals."

Chilombo said his team will go gun blazing against the Satellites who can book a place in the last four with a win at the Caroline Faye Stadium at M'bour on Thursday.

"We have spoken to the boys after the first defeat. We missed chances in the first match but this time we will go all attacking for a result that is good for us.

"The players know what is expected of them. We will position each player according to our plan and approach in hope that tomorrow, it all work for us against Ghana."

On his injured captain, Lubambo Musonda's possible return to the squad, Chilombo said "Doctors are working on him. He is a key player who can change the game for us at any moment. He adds value to the team and it will be good to have him with us."

Ghana is considered favourite for the match.
