Administrative manager of Accra Hearts of Oak, Hackman Aidoo has said that Kumasi Asante Kotoko can’t beat his outfit back to back in a league game and what happened over the two-legged encounters were just mere friendly games.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko climaxed the celebration of their 83rd anniversary with a 4:0 aggregate victory over bitterest rival, Accra Hearts of Oak – sharing evenly across the two legs with 2:0 wins.
Second half goals from Obed Owusu and Emmanuel Gyamfi were enough for Kumasi Asante Kotoko to beat Accra Hearts of Oak in the second leg of the Super Two Clash after Sogne Yacouba had decided the outcome with his brace a week before.
“Friendly matches are different from competitive matches we beat them twice in a week at Cape Coast in the league and this is different and can’t be compared to ours in the league,” Hackman Aidoo said in an interview with Metro FM.
“When you come to friendly matches you can say Kotoko has beaten Hearts back to back but you can’t say same in the league.”
