The Commission of Inquiry into the 2014 World Cup was thrown into a state of cold when management committee member of the Black Stars Moses Armah Parker revealed that Michael Essien told them in the face that it was about time the players started beating the management.

"My lord we had a series of meetings with the players in Brazil and I must say it wasn't easy. I recall Michael Essien even telling us in one of our meetings with them that it was about time they the players started beating us,"

"Did you say Michael Essien told you that in Brazil?," Moses Foh-Amoaning quizzed.

"Yes my lord. He did say that," Moses Parker answered.

"This is serious. And what was your reaction to that because if Michael actually said that then ..... and what was management reaction to that," Moses Foh-Amoaning probed.

"My lord. We only laughed to it and I remember Mr. Ansong told him that they have been managing him since his days at Liberty Professionals he couldn't beat them so how could he do it now," he noted.

But later the management spasmodic laughter to Essien's threat came to hunt them in the face when Sulley Muntari slapped Moses Parker in the presence of the FA President whiles in a meeting with the playing body.
