The Director of Communications for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, has stressed that the association is determined to see the various national teams succeed.
According to him, no one at the Ghana FA wants to continue experiencing failure at the national team level.
He is confident that one good result for the Black Stars will be enough to turn things around for good.
“The Black Stars need one good result to turn things around. It is not the goal of anyone at the FA, whether at the leadership or staff level, to continue failing at the national team level, which is where we are now,” Henry Asante Twum said in an interview with Akoma FM.
He continued, “There is always an opportunity to correct your mistakes, and I know from the players to the technical team that, if Otto stays, he has learned his lessons. If he does not, I believe whoever comes in will have watched our matches and picked up some useful lessons to correct future mistakes.”
Ghana’s national teams, especially the Black Stars and the Black Galaxies, have suffered setbacks in the last few months.
First, the Black Stars missed out on qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, before the Galaxies also failed to qualify for the 2024 CHAN tournament.
Despite these setbacks, the GFA has assured the public of its commitment to ensuring the various national teams prosper.
