Presidential candidate for the upcoming Ghana Football Association (GFA) elections, George Afriyie has noted that it is not time for Kurt Okraku to lead the football governing body.

Kurt Okraku, bankroller for Dreams FC, is one of the close competitors of George Afriyie who has been tipped by many as the favourite to eventually win the upcoming elections.

With just 9 days to the polls, all candidates have intensified their campaign in a bid to convince electorates to vote for them.

Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM on Tuesday, George Afriyie has noted that Kurt Okraku must join his team and understudy him because he is not ready for the top job at the GFA.

“Kurt Okraku must be patient and understudy us because he recently became an Executive Committee member. Just about two years and some months. He must be patient and learn from us.

“He qualifies for the job but he must come and learn from me. I am the one who received him at the executive committee. He is my brother but it is not his time yet. When it’s his time everyone will support him”, he shared.
