Football fans in Ghana are not happy about the newly launched logo for the 2017/18 National Women’s League.
The design was unveiled at a ceremony which was held at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra on Wednesday, April 4.
Social media users took to Twitter to register their displeasure, with a mixture of banter and rhetorics that gets their point across.
We also unveiled our official Logo for the Women's League. This year's edition of the #freshpakNWL begins this weekend with 8 teams playing in the Northern & the Southern zones respectively pic.twitter.com/X14QS2PAOD

Did you pay for this logo? Doesn't look professional at all. It seems side ways, 'akyea'. The caricature looks like it's ponytail was cut and pasted, take the ponytail and it looks like some dude. Clearly, you didn't put in much effort. You can do better.
