Former Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Joseph Yamin has mentioned that it is too early for Ghanaians to assess Kurt Okraku’s led Ghana Football Association (GFA) after six months in office.

There has been diverse views with regards to the performance of Kurt since assuming office last year.

Some football administrators rated the GFA president high while others are calling for his impeachment as they strongly believe that the latter has breached sessions of the articles of the association.

But Joseph Yamin in an interview with Koforidua based Bryt FM entreated Ghanaians to stop assessing the association, saying it is too early to do that to an FA that has gone through difficult times some time ago.

“I believe that anyone who is assessing Kurt within this six months may not be fair to his assessment. To me, it is too soft and calm to use this few months to do this measure. The Ghana FA suffered some challenges even before the Anas documentary”

“The truth is that they have started well but I cannot judge them now. To be frank, six month is not enough to assess the FA, we should give an additional six months to be able to see whether they will do something differently or they will follow the footsteps of the previous administration”

“I think the first six months is a period to learn a lot of things, so if we can be able to say that the future of the FA looks good or bad, six months will not do” he ended.
