It should have been 6 goals- Pastor reveals spiritual works behind Hearts' 4-0 victory over Kotoko in 2000

One of the most memorable matches in Hearts versus Kotoko history is Accra Hearts of Oak’s humiliation of their rivals in the league in 2000.
In that game, Hearts of Oak pummeled Kumasi Asante Kotoko 4-0 with goals from Charles Taylor, Emmanuel Osei Kufuor, and Ishmael Addo, who bagged a brace on the day.
The famous victory was one of the early feats achieved by Reverend Samuel Tandoh, alias Osofo Dito Dito, who had just been recruited as the spiritual leader of Hearts of Oak.
Disclosing to Peace FM the work that went into that victory, Reverend Tandoh stated that the initial scoreline revealed to him by God was a 6-0 victory for Hearts of Oak.
Osofo Dito Dito, however, explained that the scoreline reduced to four following protests by some Hearts of Oak players, particularly Edmund Copson and Charles Allotey.
He explained that the famous victory earned him the trust of Hearts of Oak players and fans and that he served the club for years despite the little benefits he enjoyed.
“I prayed for them in a game against Real Tamale United at the Kaladan Park and they won. The next day, I was asked to pray for them because they had a mid-week match against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
“I didn’t know the standard of both teams, so I was just following the word of God. Immediately, we started praying, I saw six goals and I told them, but they didn’t believe me. The players laughed it off and told me I was lying.
“I became confused and told Amankwa Mireku that because of their little belief, they were going to win 4-0. Edmund Copson and Charles Allotey protested against my prediction, but Amankwa Mireku asked them to believe in it. I even told them the scorers of the goals. We offered thanksgiving prayers to God and I left,” he said on Peace FM.
