The Nerazzurri roared to another victory against Milan earlier tonight, with the Ghana's international midfielder performing well throughout.
Inter are nine points clear of Juventus and eleven clear of Milan following their 2-1 triumph over the latter in the Derby della Madonnina earlier tonight.
Adriano and Dejan Stankovic grabbed first half goals for the Nerazzurri, whilst Pato pulled one back 20 minutes from time for the visitors, however it was too late, as the blue half of Milan held on for a crucial victory.
One of Inter’s better performers on the night, Sulley Muntari, was interviewed following the match, and he reiterated the comments made by his coach previously, in that the club’s latest triumph does not mean the race for the Scudetto is over.
“It was a difficult game, but we were brave, and managed to take away three important points,” Muntari affirmed in an interview with Sky.
“The advantage that we have gained tonight however, does not mean anything, as we still have 13 games to play.
“We are taking things one game at a time, and so we will remain calm for now.
“This game was tough, but we played our own match and were lucky enough to score twice in the first half.
“Again though, the championship is not over, as this game only gave us another three points,” he added.
“Everybody knew that we would approach this match with the right mentality.
“We desperately wanted to win this derby for ourselves and for our fans, and so everything paid off tonight,” he concluded.
Inter face a struggling Bologna side in the league next weekend, before their enticing Champions League tie gets underway at home against Manchester United.
