Ghana Black Stars defender Rashid Sumaila says it was a great game against the Blue Samurai’s of Japan in a FIFA international friendly game on Wednesday.
Sumaila who was a pillar at the back for the Black Stars in the 2-0 win maintains that the game was a great exercise for both nations as they get ready for their various assignments.
“It was a fantastic and good game for both sides, everyone did well but we were better than them and we won by two goals to nothing,” Sumaila told footballmadeinghana.com
“I think we can build on it for the AFCON qualification whilst they are also preparing for the World Cup in June,”
Ghana won the game through goals from Thomas Partey and debutant Emmanuel Boateng.
