Ghana international Jeffery Schlupp has reacted after scoring a classy goal in Crystal Palace’s pre-season friendly win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The former Black Stars versatile player lasted the entire duration as his outfit inflicted a 3-1 win over fellow Premier League club in the Stateside Cup in the USA.
The versatile midfielder scored a stunning goal from 40 yards to help his side snatch victory in the thrilling clash.
"It was one of those ones: as soon as it left my foot, it It was in straight away.
"I mean, I just tried to hit the target. But like I said, as soon as it left my foot, I saw it sort of shape and bend around towards the top corner. It felt nice," Schlupp told Palace TV.
His compatriot, Jordan Ayew climbed off the bench to deliver a stunning performance. He scored and assisted to help Palace win the match.
Ayew doubled the lead in the 49th minute mark, collecting a long pass from goalkeeper Dean Henderson before firing home.
Wolves reduced the deficit in the 90th minute through Santiago Bueno but Ayew had time to create the third after finding Asher Agbinone for the final goal.
Crystal Palace will engage in a couple of friendlies before returning to England for the start of the Premier League.
