Football Administrator Kofi Manu says it will be difficult for the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season to continue due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
All football activities in the country have been suspended by the Ghana Football Association in bid to help curb the spread of the disease also called coronavirus.
Ghana has recorded 195 coronavirus cases, including five (5) deaths as of 1st April 2020.
Currently, there is a two-week partial lockdown in the West African country and there has since been growing calls by coaches and players for the current campaign to be abrogated.
According to Kofi Manu, he believes it will be difficult to continue the current campaign.
"It will be difficult for the league (GPL) to continue monitoring the situation at hand involving the Coronavirus pandemic", Manu told Light FM.
According to reports, the Football Association is considering offering a special package to the clubs in these difficult times.
