Japan Sports Festival

There will be Japan Sports Festival as part of Japan Week 2013. The Ghana Judo Association and the Ghana Karate-Do Association are as a result organizing judo and karate championships respectively with support from the Embassy of Japan in Ghana as follows;

The Karate Championship is on Saturday 16th to Sunday 17th November at the Tennis Court of the Accra Sports Stadium from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day.

The Judo Championship, dubbed the 15th Japanese Ambassador Judo Championship, is on Sunday, 17th November at the Sports Hall, Accra Sports stadium from 7:30 am to 4:30pm.

Other events that will be taking place during this year’s Japan Week are; • Japan Film Festival on 15th November at Silverbird Cinema, Accra Mall, two movies will be shown from 4pm to 8pm.

• Ghana Yosakoi Japan Festival on 16th November at Mensvic Grand Hotel, East Legon, where there will be karate and judo demonstrations, Japanese traditional dance, Japanese music, Japanese food among other activities.

Admission to all events is free!
