Head coach of the Black Stars, James Akwesi Appiah believes Japan were defensively weak.
The Black Stars defeated the Asian giants in their international friendly played in Yokohama on Wednesday.
Atletico Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey scored the first goal in the 8th minute through a well-struck freekick.
In the second half of the match, Emmanuel Boateng was brought down in the 18-yard box in the 51st minute.
The UD Levante forward converted the spot-kick to add more woes to Japan's team.
And speaking to the press after the impressive, Kwesi Appiah sais, "
"Japan held the ball, the front line moved well, but the defense was a little weak.
"If you make a mistake here the same mistake will not be done in this tournament," he added.
Ghana will face Iceland on the 7th of June in another international friendly.
