Head Coach of the National Amputee team, Ali Jara, has paid glowing tribute to World Cup winner Marcel Desailly for granting them free access to the Lizzy sports complex.

The National Amputee team has been using the Astro Turf of the plush Lizzy Sports Complex for training ahead of the upcoming World Cup in Mexico.

The team trains twice a day on the Astro Turf which would have cost thousands of Ghana cedis. But the Ghana born French International, decided to allow the National Amputee team to use the facility free without any cost, and this has seen the national team coach pay glowing tribute to the world cup winner for his kind gesture.

“We are using the Astro Turf at the Lizzy Sports Complex free and we are glad that Marcel gave this facility to us. He has really been kind and a wonderful person for us, we are just hoping that things will change for us and people like him will always come to our aid.“
