Jeffrey Schlupp injured during Crystal Palace defeat to Man City

Crystal Palace have been dealt a blow after Jeffrey Schlupp was forced off during the club’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester City.

The Ghanaian international picked up the problem following a strong challenge from Vincent Kompany.

Schlupp was subsequently forced to limp off, to be replaced by Cheikhou Kouyate.

The 26 year old now faces a race against time to return to full fitness in time for the Eagles next fixture against Arsenal next weekend.

His compatriot Jordan Ayew watched the entire game from the bench.
