Former Black Stars defender, Joe Addo has hailed the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for initiating some transformational policies that will revive the game and make it more exciting.

For him, if the FA implement the decisions taken at the summit will do a lot in our football.

”Yes; finally words have been through to them, they are listening because a lot of people have been saying things they are saying now for the past four or five years. The main thing is, the youth football that how it has been destroyed. Redevelopment is not more in the country,” Joe Addo told Football Legends Night Show on GHOne TV on Friday, December, 1, 2017.

He added, ”How our league is going down the drain. Our slot at CAF has reduce from two to one. We have been hammering and finally the FA has heard enough and want to do something about it so i recommend them for that. I think it is in the right direction.”

According to him, the FA have to implement all these things and hopefully if they do is going to help our football.

The Leadership of Ghana Football Association (GFA) held a three-day summit last week at Cape Coast to brainstorm on issues affecting the country’s favourite sport and to evaluate ways of improving recent successes.
