Ghanaian-born Joe Dodoo could not complete the game for Rangers after picking up a knock in their 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership on Friday night.
The 20-year-old suffered an injury and was replaced by Joe Garner 15 minutes into the game.
Dodoo had to be stretched off after receiving a bad tackle from an opponent.
The former England U18 striker is thus expected to undergo a scan.
He is likely to miss his side’s derby clash against Celtic next week.
The youngster joined Rangers on a four-year deal from English Champions Leicester City.
