Joe Mensah relishes strong injury comeback

Denmark-based midfielder Joe Mensah says he is happy his injury came during the pre-season, insisting he will return stronger than before.

Mensah, 21, got injured when featuring for his side in a friendly with Silkeborg and has been ruled out for three weeks.

But the former Liberty Professionals star man insists that the injury is not serious and he hopes to return stronger.

“The examination I had looks quite okay and not soo serious with my injury. Will be out for 3 weeks which is said in the doctor’s report,” Mensah tweeted.

“Is good we still in pre-season and am working hard to come back stronger. Will be fit before the season starts and am looking forward to that,” he added.

The Danish Division One will start on 13 March and Mensah is hopeful of a tremendous impact upon his return.
