One week after helping Ghana's Senior National Team, the Black Stars to a 2-0 win over South Africa's Bafana Bafana in the Gemrnay 2006 World Cup Qualifier, Ghanaian international, Joetex Frimpong, has also led his Nigerian team, Enyimba International FC of Aba, to another good outing in the CAF Champions League.
The Ghanaian, who has brought hope to Ghanaians with his five-star outing in the colours of the Black Stars against South-Africa and Burkina-Faso, confirmed his deadly rating in front of the box with a beautiful goal in the encounter, which ended in a 1-1 draw against host, Ajax Cape Town, this afternoon, in Cape Town.
Joetex put his name on the score sheet when he finished clinically to beat the Ajax Cape Town goalkeeper outside the box.
However, Ajax equalized when Mafundo Shumana forced the ball into the net after Enyimba defender, Odeh Ogah, tried in vain to clear the ball after Enyimba's goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba, failed to hold onto a shot at the near side.
The Ghanaian has now increased his tally in the 2005 edition to six after scoring five goals in the preliminaries. He had earlier scored four goals against Zambia's Red Arrows and one against Simba of Tanzania.
