John Antwi embarrasses me - Ahly coach Martin Jol

Al Ahly manager Martin Jol has heaped praise on Ghanaian striker John Antwi following the forward's influential display in the Cairo giants' international friendly win over AS Roma on Friday.

The 23-year-old steered Ahly into a 13th minute lead at the Cairo International Stadium as the Egyptian giants posted a 4-3 win over Roma in a game that saw Eden Dzeko and Mohammed Salah all getting on the score-sheet.

Antwi's finish set Ahly on the gear and his continuous run-ins pressurizes the visitors defence.

And the former Tottenham and Dnipro manager says Antwi's brilliance and goal scoring exploits makes him feel embarrassed.

"He always embarrasses me because of the failure to pay him, despite his brilliance and scoring goals," he praised the Ghanaian in a post-match interview.

Antwi has scored three league goals for table-topping Ahly in the Egyptian Premier League.
