John Mensah Sure Of Fitness For Swaziland, Brazil Match

Ghana captain John Mensah says he will be fit for next month’s double-decker against Swaziland and Brazil.

The strong centre-back has been on the sidelines due to a leg injury which has kept him out of French side Lyon.

Mensah picked up the problem during Les Gones’ pre-season training and should be fit next week.

He was excluded from this month’s aborted friendly against Nigeria as a result.

Ghana face Swaziland on 2 September in a 2012 Nations Cup qualifier in Accra and line up against Brazil three days later at Craven Cottage in London.
