Johnson Smith confirms interest in goalkeeper Mozart Adjetey

Head Coach of Karela United, Johnson Smith has confirmed to Takoradi based Aseda FM that, he’s in search of an experienced goalkeeper to replace injured Isaac Hagan.

The coach also confirmed that his goalkeeper will be on the sidelines for three months after clashing with Hearts of Oak player, Joseph Esso in their matchday eight Ghana Premier League.

“Goalkeeper, Isaac Hagan, who is a captain had his palm wounded following the clash with Hearts of Oak attacker, Joseph Esso in Wednesday’s game. He has been to the hospital for treatment. It will take about three months before he recovers from the injury” said the coach.

The former Asante Kotoko assistant coach also confirmed that he has asked the Management of the club to sign former Dreams FC goalkeeper, Mozart Adjetey to replace injured Isaac Hagan.

“I have proposed to Management to get experienced goalkeeper, Mozart Adjetey to replace my injured goalkeeper, Isaac Hagan. I want Mozart Adjetey because he’s an experienced goalkeeper. I have told them to do everything possible to get the signature of the goalkeeper” he added.
