Head coach of Karela United Johnson Smith has set his sights on claiming his maiden win in the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League against Techiman Eleven Wonders following their opening day loss to Medeama SC last Sunday.
Kwame Boateng's first-half strike condemned the Anyinase-based side to their first defeat of the league campaign at the Tarkwa T&A Park.
In the wake of the game, coach Smith commended his side's effort but was quick to turn attention to their second match where they will come up against fellow league newcomers Techiman Eleven Wonders. "We lose as a team, we win as a team," he said.
“This is our first game in the league but we gave Medeama a close game."
Good for us, our next fixture is at home and we will do our best....."
Karela United will host Techiman Eleven Wonders as the CAM Park on Match Day Two of the Ghana Premier League.
