Ghanaian international Aaron Essel has expressed excitement about his move to the Scottish outfit, St. Johnstone FC.
In his first interview after completing the transfer to his new club on Monday, July 8, Aaron Essel described the move as a blessing.
"I am so proud... I just want to show my quality on the field and develop. The staff, the players, the manager, and the people here are amazing. As time goes on, I hope to do my best and progress here. Being here on trial and then being picked is a blessing," he said.
St. Johnstone announced the signing of Aaron Essel, stating that the youngster has signed a three-year deal.
"We are delighted to confirm the signing of Ghana youth international Aaron Essel, subject to international clearance. The versatile 18-year-old, who can play in midfield or defense, has agreed to a three-year deal at McDiarmid Park," the club announced.
