Jonathan Mensah will undergo a late test to see whether he can feature in Ghana’s final Group game against Guinea Bissau.
The Columbus Crew defender came in to replace John Boye in Ghana’s last game against Cameroon after the latter had picked a red card in the opening match with Benin.
Mensah displayed a man of the match performance against Cameroon with some great work at the back however picked up a knock in the cause of the game despite lasting the entire minutes.
He remains a doubt for tomorrow’s clash with the medical team currently working on his situation.
Should he pass a late fitness test, the center-back could be in action against Guinea Bissau.
Already Ghana will be missing the services of Christian Atsu and Thomas Agyepong who are all nursing injuries.
