Ghana forward Jordan Ayew is the fourth highest African scorer in the English Premier League this season despite the abrupt suspension of the league due to Coronavirus.
Ayew has bagged in eight goals for Crystal Palace this season and is behind serial goal scorers Pierre Emerick Augbamayeng (17) of Arsenal and Liverpool duo Mohammed Salah (16) and Sadio Mane (14).
Meanwhile, the ex-Swansea City star beats expensive signings Riyad Mahrez of Manchester City and Nicholas Pepe of Arsenal.
Mahrez, who joined City two seasons ago for 60 million pounds has netted only seven times this season with Nicholas Pepe joining the Gunners for 72 million pounds scoring just four times in the Premier League.
Ayew is enjoying one of his best seasons in England since making a permanent switch to Crystal Palace last summer.
He has made 28 appearances for the club in the league.
The 28-year old has been the Eagles' best player in the campaign with his goals fetching the club more points in season.
His stunning solo goal against Watford is in contention for goal of the year.
