Bankroller of Accra Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede has promised to top up the initial amount the Normalisation Committee promised to spend on clubs in the impending Special Tournament.
The NC proposed $800,000 which was to be shared among the clubs but the Hearts of Oak owner has pledged to add an additional $400,000 to it.
The gesture of the Phobian boss is to allow the clubs to have enough money for their expenses ahead of the tournament.
The launching of the tournament which involves both the Premier and Division One Clubs will be communicated to the public in the coming days.
