The Teshie McDan Park buzzed with excitement on Saturday, June 8, as some of Ghana’s foreign-based footballers represented their respective communities in an inter-community match.
The game between Teshie Professionals and La Professionals saw footballers from the two communities compete in a match that ended in a 2-2 draw.
Joseph Annang of West Ham and Jonas Adjetey led the Teshie team, while Ashie Quaye was the torchbearer for the La team.
Organized by TT Kalusha, a renowned football coach in the two communities, the event drew hundreds of supporters who gathered under the floodlights to enjoy the beautiful game.
Train Like A Pro GH, a leading Ghanaian fitness centre, sponsored the game and played an instrumental role in the success of the program. The NDC youth organizer in the constituency also contributed to the success of the game. The event was MCeed by Herobuoy Visionaire Daakyehene Sirius.
The return fixture is scheduled for Monday, June 17, 2024.
