Joseph Lamptey to officiate FA cup final

Ghana’s number one referee,Joseph Lamptey has been appointed to handle the 2015 MTN FA cup final between Medeama SC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Essipong Stadium.

The FIFA referee has been entrusted with the epic clash on Sunday and will be assisted by David Laryea and the experienced A. S. Malik.

The Essipong clash will see William Agbovi as the fourth referee.

Referee Lamptey, has been Ghana’s most consistent referee in recent times and has officiated in series of CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup competitions.

He was at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations as the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
