Junior Badminton Player for Morocco International

Ghana's Badminton young prodigy, Abraham Ayittey has left for the Moroccan City of Casablanca to participate in the Morocco International (Under-18) Badminton championship to be held from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th November, 2013.
Ayittey is accompanied by Mr. J E Wilson, one of the National Badminton Coaches. This event is a Junior Under-18 International sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and carrying junior world ranking points.
The tournament is among other Junior Internationals to be held in Africa up to April 2014 as qualifier for the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympics, where African players (boys and girls) with the highest Junior world ranking will be the players qualified from Africa.
Abraham Ayittey who is currently ranked 619 in the world will be seeking to improve in the Men's single event at the Morocco Junior International.
It would be recalled that, Abraham is one of Ghana's athletes who is benefiting from Olympic Solidarity Scholarship for Badminton; in preparations towards the 2014 Youth Olympic Games to be held in China.
Other events to be completed are; Botswana and South Africa Junior Internationals in December and Africa Youth Games to be held in Botswana in 2014.
The team is expected back in Ghana on Tuesday 10th November, 2013.
