Newly crowned IBF junior middleweight champion Kassim ?The Dream? Ouma fights Ghana?s Kofi Jantuah in the US tonight in the first fight between Africans for a world title in nearly 50 years.

On June 24, 1957, Nigerian Hogan ?Kid? Bassey defeated Algerian Cherif Hamia. Ouma 20-1-1(13 KOS) beat Verno Phillips last year. Uganda?s Celestino Mindra is supervising the fight.
