Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed has received an invitation into the senior national team, the Black Stars for the first time in over a decade.
The 32 year old was last called-up into the Black Stars in August 2007 by then Coach Claude Leroy for a friendly game against Senegal.
After his career nosedived, Yahaya had an unstable spell where he became a journeyman across several clubs.
However, after fighting hard to steer his career back on track, the former Ghana Premier League goal king has been rewarded with a national team received a call up.
Yahaya currently is the top scoring Ghanaian player in the ongoing Ghana Premier league with 10 goals. His goals have propelled Aduana Stars to the top of the table as they chase a successful title defence.
