Dreams FC Technical Director Karim Zito has revealed that he is owed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

According to the experienced tactician who was earlier this year appointed by the Ghana FA to head the technical team of the U-20 team, he has only been paid 3 months of his salaries.

Speaking to BBC Sport Africa in an interview, the former Asante Kotoko coach shared that he believes he has not been paid for months as a result of the Coronavirus crisis.

“We had only collected our salaries for three months when we received a letter stating that we will no longer be paid - no reason was given.

“I was appointed as coach of the (Under-20) national team in January this year but I am being owed"

“I will attribute the failure of to pay our salaries to the coronavirus pandemic”, the veteran trainer said.

The Black Satellites head coach has in the past worked with clubs such as Medeama SC, Feyenoord, Bibiani Goldstars, King Faisal, and Hearts of Oak.

At age 60, Coach Karim Zito is experienced and is hoping football makes a return soon.
