Ex-coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, has hinted of a possible return to the Ghana Premier League in a tweet on his official twitter timeline.
Kenichi was head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League but parted ways with the Accra-based club in the first round of the league due to a course he was scheduled to undertake in India.
Since his departure, the American-Japanese coach has on several occasions been linked with a job whenever there is a coaching vacancy at any club. The latest being a link to Asante Kotoko, who are without a coach at the moment.
Even though Kotoko have communicated that they haven’t contacted any coach yet after the sacking of Lugarusic, it won’t be strange if Kenichi returned to Ghana to coach Kotoko.
In a tweet on Tuesday, the former Hearts coach said “I miss Ghana Premier League, and I hope Ghana Premier League does too. If so, two shall meet soon”, (@keni_yats_coach), he tweeted.
The tweet has sparked media speculations that Kenichi could be set to return to the Ghanaian top flight soon.
