Accra Hearts of Oak have plunged into bigger crisis after their Japanese coach Kenichi Yatshuhashi snubbed a scheduled meeting with management yesterday over his hugely damaging statement about the club, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The club's strategic committee summoned the Japanese to a meeting on Monday afternoon over his statement on Facebook which exposed the club.

Kenichi's statement exposed a huge leadership rot, bringing to the public a dire situation of starving players and coaches who have been unpaid players for several month even though the Accra side has raked in about $200,000 from the gates since the start of through gate proceeds.

Kenichi was asked to turn up for a meeting at the club's secretariat to address the issue at 1 pm but by 3:30 pm when the members left he was not present, and his phone was also turned off.

The development widens the rift between the coach and management which feels the club’s internal affairs on social media, and this could lead to further shambolic results after the Japanese stabilized the then struggling club.

This could alienate the club's fans and its teeming Japanese followers who are angry that despite their efforts of trooping to the stadium to boost the club's coffers their main actors are being denied their monies.

Yatshuhashi took to social media (Facebook) to express his consents about rumors concerning his salary at the Club.

Report were rife the Japanese had asked for an increment in his salary hence refusing to accept his wages for the month of March.

In reacting to the allegation, the 46-year-old posted on his Facebook page denying the said report.

As part of his explanation as to why he rejected his salary, the former Aspire Soccer Academy trainer revealed players and his technical team were still unpaid which has ultimately led to some fans lambasting management for their failure to pay the players their bonuses.

Some fans have also attributed the situation to the team’s poor run in their last three matches resulting in their FA Cup elimination.

Spokesperson of the Club Opare Addo has however revealed his outfit’s dissatisfaction about the comments by the Coach.

Management will release a press statement on the situation and also meet Yatshuhashi for further explanation.
