Ex-Asante Kotoko board member Kennedy Agyapong also known as Kenpong has expressed sincere thanks to all who supported him during the burial of his mother(Janet Yaa Biamah) over the weekend at Kwahu Mpraeso.
He said in an interview that "to all who traveled from far and near, those who supported in diverse ways during my mum's funeral, I want to say I am most grateful.
"Ghanaians demonstrated true love- words can't express how thankful my family and l are," he said.
"Otumfuo's decorating my mother with royal symbolic ornaments is much appreciated, l am told it's the first time Asantehene has done something of this kind to someone who has served the club has urged me on to go the extra mile for kotoko."
He paid glowing tribute to NPP vice-presidential candidate Dr Mahmoud Bawumia, President John mahama, Chief of defense staff Samson Michael-Oje, Deputy Eastern Regional Minister Mavis Ama Frimpong, President John Kufuor, NPP Presidential candidate Nana Akufo Addo, and his wife Rebecca, kwahu chiefs as well as his business counterparts for rallying behind him.
